Standard Woven
Dependable, economical woven Dacron for dinghies and normal coastal cruising - the right call for most boats.
Materials
We build with established cruising cloth - primarily woven Dacron from Dimension-Polyant - and pick the construction for your boat, your sail type and how you actually sail. The priority is durability, handling and value, not racing specification you don't need.
Three cloth tiers
Most lofts bury you in cloth codes. We keep it to three honest tiers and recommend the one your sailing actually needs.
Dependable, economical woven Dacron for dinghies and normal coastal cruising - the right call for most boats.
Higher-tenacity woven cloth with better shape retention and a longer working life for regular use.
Lighter, lower-stretch cloth - radial and laminate options - where handling and shape hold justify the cost.
Material credibility
Dimension-Polyant is one of the world's established sailcloth makers - Sioen-owned, making sailcloth since 1966. We use their proven cruising cloth as our benchmark and choose the exact construction for your boat, rather than over-specifying. Cloth weight is matched to your boat's length, so a 30-footer and a 45-footer never get the same sail.
